NOTE: Men On The Mountain weekly meetings are postponed for the remainder of the Spring Semester. If you are interested the group please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Other sessions of Men on the Mountain are occuring with various groups at varying times during the semester.
Men on the Mountain is an on-going, open group for students that meets weekly to discuss topics surrounding masculinity. Members and guests are invited to explore and discuss: “What kind of man do I want to be?”, “What do I think it means to be a man?”
Men on the Mountain meets weekly to work together in the cultivation of positive masculine qualities and acknowledge the struggles that come with that process. This group is open to any male-identified individuals interested in actively collaborating with others in improving themselves and becoming better men.
Men on the Mountain also facilitates conversations or conducts presentations for student organizations including clubs, fraternities, sororities, teams and residences.
Please use our page to find out more about how to get involved. Men on the Mountain is dedicated to educating peers about masculinity and identity at Appalachian State University. To request a presentation visit our request page. If you are interested in joining visit the About page.
